About Us

 The South Dakota Shooting Sports Foundation (SDSSF) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that raises tax-deductible contributions to support a variety of firearm-related activities that defend and foster the Second Amendment rights of all law-abiding South Dakotans. South Dakota Shooting Sports Foundation provides funds for adult & youth organizations and ranges to teach discipline, responsibility & respect thru firearm training. Activities are designed to promote firearms and hunting safety, to enhance marksmanship skills of those participating in the shooting sports, and to educate the general public about firearms in their historic, technological and artistic context.

 Grant Funds are used for: 

  * Programs that teach discipline, responsibility & respect of firearms 

  * Promote firearms & hunting safety 

  * Enhance marksmanship skills

All grant money that is raised by SDSSF events, stays local and is used to fulfill grant requests from local organizations that teach and support shooting sports.
